In 1982, Rich Sellhorst, father of current president Steve Sellhorst, began his career in the low-voltage industry. That early foundation set the stage for what would become a trusted, family-owned business built on generations of expertise and dedication.

When Rich officially founded SELLHORST in 2006, his focus was clear: to provide dependable home security solutions for local families. With a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to protecting what matters most, he grew the business from the ground up—earning a reputation for quality, trust, and personal service.

As technology advanced, so did the SELLHORST vision gradually expanding beyond home security to offer full-service solutions in audio/video, smart-home automation, and more.
